Alongside the Halloween update on October 22, Facepunch put themed skins up for sale. The collection has 2 parts. The first includes limited items for your base and character: 3 wallpaper designs, a skull wall lamp, and an inflatable alien costume. The second is an updated Spooky Store with weapon and gear reskins, skull decor, and the returning Dracula set. Facepunch's announcement covers candy hunts, a player-built monster, and portals. Here, we're focusing on the skins.

Wallpaper, a skull lamp, and an inflatable alien

The limited collection is sold item by item. There are 3 wallpaper designs: Cultist Tile, Manor Ceiling, and Derelict Wood. Skull Wall Lamp is a reskin of Tuna Can Lamp, so you can place it wherever you'd put the regular can lamp.

The collection's most eye-catching item goes on your character, not the wall. Alien Costume, an inflatable alien outfit, comes in 3 decorative variants. Facepunch calls it “out-of-this-world,” and that's hard to argue with. On a Halloween server where scarecrows and mummies roam the island, an inflatable alien looks especially out of place—in the best way.

What's in the Spooky Decor Bundle

The bundle puts the collection's decor in one purchase and adds two items you can't buy separately. Facepunch says the wreath and string lights are exclusive to the bundle.

  • Cultist Tile wallpaper
  • Manor Ceiling wallpaper
  • Derelict Wood wallpaper
  • Skull Wall Lamp for Tuna Can Lamp
  • Halloween Wreath, bundle exclusive
  • Halloween String Lights, bundle exclusive

The alien costume isn't part of the bundle; you have to buy it separately. The wreath and string lights are bundle exclusives, while the wallpaper and lamp are also sold individually.

Mask, bat, and torch: reskins in the Spooky Store

mark.polke curated the Spooky Store section. The three new skins are cosmetic only; their stats stay the same as the base items.

SkinBase itemWhat to know
Hockey FacemaskMetal FacemaskHockey mask instead of a metal facemask
Cultist Deer TorchTorchSelect it or craft it, and you'll respawn with it
Baseball BatMaceBaseball bat instead of a mace

Of the 3 skins, you'll see Cultist Deer Torch most often. You get the starter Torch every time you respawn, so once you select the skin, you'll spawn with the cultists' deer torch instead. According to the announcement, cultists dropped it while opening portals all over the island.

What zombie apocalypse is complete without a baseball bat to bash zombies over the head?

Skulls on walls and spikes, plus mummy underwear

The store's other new items are decor and clothing. Two skull bundles have variants, while two items have no description in the announcement, just names.

  • Skull Trophy Pack: decorative mount for a friend's or enemy's skull, complete with their name; 4 variants
  • Skull Spike Pack: decorative skulls on spikes to scare off enemies; 3 variants
  • Mummy Underwear: replaces your character's default underwear; no crafting required
  • Skull Rock
  • Pumpkin Carving

We'd call the named trophy the season's most toxic item. Now you can officially hang the skull of the neighbor who raided you last week by your entrance.

Dracula's Mask, cloak, and Wooden Stake return

Last year's set is back, but the items are available in different ways. You can buy Dracula's Mask this year. It protects your head at the start of a wipe, and crafting it costs 10 Cloth.

The cloak isn't in the store. It's a heavy-duty piece of armor with good protection, and you can find it on undead corpses.

Wooden Stake also drops there. It kills undead in one hit and gives you extra loot from them, making it a better choice for hunting Halloween mobs than regular melee weapons.

All the Halloween skins are in the Rust Item Store, and the event runs on servers until November 5.
