How We Selected Skins Under $10
This lineup features standard versions of skins under $10 in Field-Tested condition. Each had thousands of sales during the week shown: active trading makes it easier to find a listing near the market price, but doesn’t guarantee the price of a specific transaction.
The tables show the median Steam sale price over seven days and the number of sales. They’re updated daily, and the skins were selected based on prices as of October 1, 2026. The median reflects completed transactions, not the cheapest current listing. All prices are in US dollars and may change.
What makes a cheap CS2 skin look good is a matter of taste, so we haven’t ranked the designs. Our recommendations are based on price; rarity is included for comparison and doesn’t make a skin look better on its own.

This lineup includes four M4A1-S skins and one M4A4 skin. All prices are for Field-Tested skins. Choose a skin for the rifle you use.
| Skin | Rarity | Steam Price | Sales This Week |
|---|---|---|---|
 M4A1-S | Black Lotus | Classified | $4.69 | 4,842,080 |

M4A1-S | Black Lotus costs under $5, while M4A1-S | Solitude is under $2 at the same rarity. We’d compare them by appearance: the higher price doesn’t mean you’ll like the first one more.
M4A1-S | Night Terror and M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S each cost under a dollar and had more than 8,000 sales during the week shown. Emphorosaur-S is the cheapest option for this rifle in the lineup. For the M4A4, Etch Lord at $0.52 is a good starting point.

How to Compare Prices and Avoid Overpaying for Wear
AK-47 | Ice Coaled Prices by Condition
Below are current Steam prices for the standard version of AK-47 | Ice Coaled. The comparison covers Field-Tested, Minimal Wear, and Factory New.
| Condition | Steam Price |
|---|---|
| Field-Tested | $5.24 |
| Minimal Wear | $8.92 |
| Factory New | $15 |
Factory New is over the $10 limit, while the other two conditions are within budget. We recommend comparing the appearance of specific listings first, then deciding whether the difference is worth the extra cost.
Compare the same version and wear of a skin so you don’t mistake a cheaper listing in a different condition for a discount.
Keep an eye on Float, which shows how worn an individual item is. AK-47 | Ice Coaled has a float range of 0 to 0.77. The condition label alone doesn’t tell the whole story, so check the available listings before choosing one.
Steam and Third-Party Marketplaces
Steam prices include a fee of around 15%. Listings on trusted third-party marketplaces are usually cheaper, but check each skin individually by comparing the same version and wear. Steam and trusted marketplace prices for a specific skin are listed on its Wiki page—for example, AK-47 | Ice Coaled.
Consider how you pay: Steam Wallet funds can’t be withdrawn, so Steam prices and costs outside Steam aren’t always directly comparable. We don’t recommend a specific marketplace here; you’ll need to check its current listings and terms.
