Reloading no longer speeds up shotgun fire
Two fixes address silent reload. One removes a slight reload speed boost triggered by a specific sequence of button presses; the other prevents players from increasing their rate of fire with shotguns. The AK-47 fix affects how the weapon is displayed: the developers fixed a twitch in its inspect animation.
- Silent reload: Fixed an issue where briefly tapping the reload button before holding it down made reloading slightly faster.
- Shotguns: Fixed an issue where silent reload allowed players to fire faster than normal.
- AK-47: Fixed an issue where the inspect animation would sometimes jerk abruptly.
RUSH rules and team-damage kick criteria clarified
The loading-screen description should explain the RUSH rules more clearly before a match starts. The developers also adjusted how the game determines when to kick a player for team damage. This changes the criteria for punishment, not just the wording of the tip.
- RUSH loading screen: Added a clearer description of the rules.
- Team damage in RUSH: Adjusted the criteria for determining when a player should be kicked for damaging their team.
- RUSH collisions: Various fixes.
GameTracking-CS2 recorded build 2000915 and an update to 1,754 files that same day. The number of changed files should not be confused with the number of gameplay additions: the developers’ announcement describes the fixes listed above.
