On October 21, GamerLegion signed Russian IGL shalfey, formerly of FORZE Esports and 9Pandas. He takes Snax’s place after the Polish player was moved to the bench. HLTV reported the signing, noting that shalfey is joining an international project for the first time.
Who’s leading GamerLegion now
Alexander shalfey Marenov has competed professionally since 2018. He’s an IGL, or in-game leader, who directs the team’s play during rounds. He played for FORZE Esports from October 2021 to April 2024, then was moved to the bench. He joined 9Pandas in June 2024 and played on the main roster until April 2025.
Before joining GamerLegion, shalfey spent an extended spell outside 9Pandas’ active lineup, which ended in August 2026. He also played for Nemiga Gaming on loan in February that year. Now he’ll lead Tauson, REZ, hypex and FL4MUS.
