On October 21, Team Spirit announced that Alexey Qikert Golubev would lead the organization's main CS2 youth roster. According to HLTV, the 27-year-old player from Kazakhstan is ending a career that lasted nearly 10 years. Former academy coach Vladislav Flash_1 Bykov is staying with Team Spirit and will coach its second youth roster, Spirit Academy White.
What Qikert is known for
Qikert claimed his biggest trophy in 2022, winning the IEM Rio Major with Outsiders. Earlier, he reached the StarLadder Major Berlin final with AVANGAR and won BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019. Golubev played at seven Majors, the last of them the StarLadder Budapest Major with MIBR.
His final season as a player
At the start of 2026, Qikert left MIBR for 1win and won MPKBK CIS LAN Season 4 with the team. HLTV counts it as the 12th title of his career. Golubev's last team was Color, which he left on October 4. At the time, he said his priority was finding a spot as a captain, but he was also considering other offers.
