Nisha leaves Team Liquid and takes a break

Nisha left Team Liquid and took a break from competitive play. That's how his departure is described on the team's Liquipedia page, where he is now listed as a former player. He spent almost four years with Liquid, joining on December 9, 2022.

Nisha's departure was announced on his 26th birthday

Polish player Michał Jankowski, known as Nisha, was born on September 28, 2000. Team Liquid announced his break on his 26th birthday. He has played as both a mid laner and a carry during his career.

According to Liquipedia, Nisha began competing in Dota 2 at 15. He has found success both as a midlaner and a carry. His player profile notes that he became one of the world's strongest players in both roles—a rare combination even in the professional scene.

Nisha won top-tier tournaments with Team Secret and Team Liquid. But he only won The International with Liquid, at The International 2024. He repeatedly dominated the mid lane at that tournament.

Team Liquid's current roster

The other four positions on the roster are filled: Swedish player miCKe is the carry, Bolivian player Wisper plays position 3, Swedish player Boxi is position 4, and German player tOfu is position 5. Wisper joined Liquid on September 20, eight days before Nisha left. MidOne (Yeik Nai Zheng), a player from Malaysia, is the team's stand-in for BLAST SLAM VIII.

The longest-serving members of the current roster are miCKe and Boxi, both of whom have been with Team Liquid since October 2, 2019. tOfu joined on October 9, 2025.

Two wins and a final for Liquid in 2026

In 2026, Team Liquid won BLAST SLAM VI on February 15, reached the final of PGL Wallachia Season 7 on March 15, and won 1win Essence II on August 5.

For Liquid, winning The International 2024 was the organization's second title, following The International 2017. According to Team Liquid's Liquipedia page, it is the first organization to win The International with two different rosters. Nisha was part of the second championship roster.
