How to read the rosters: positions 1 to 5
A Dota 2 team has five positions. The number beside a player indicates their role, not their rank on the team. Here’s what each position means:
- Position 1 — carry.
- Position 2 — mid.
- Position 3 — offlane.
- Position 4 — soft support.
- Position 5 — hard support.
The tournament season wraps up with The International in August-September. Teams usually change their rosters afterward: the completed season’s results remain part of a team’s history, but its current main roster may be different. That’s why this article lists current lineups separately from the titles and finals of the 2025/26 season.

The rosters below update automatically once a day using data from Liquipedia. Each block pulls the team’s current main roster from its page. This lets you check who’s playing now without having to search through old transfer news.

Tundra Esports: four titles and an exit from Dota 2
Tundra Esports represented Europe, though Liquipedia lists the United Kingdom. The team won four tier-one tournaments in the 2025/26 season, more than any other team. On June 1, 2026, the organization left Dota 2 and transferred its roster to 1win Team. At The International 2026, the players competed as Iron Wing and finished 7th–8th.
- Titles: BLAST SLAM IV, BLAST SLAM V, DreamLeague Season 28, and ESL One Birmingham 2026.
- No lost finals at top-tier tournaments this season.
- The International 2026: competed as Iron Wing (1win Team), finished 7th–8th.
Team Yandex: three wins and third place at The International
Team Yandex is from the CIS region. In the 2025/26 season, the team won three titles and reached two more finals without winning. It placed third at The International 2026.
- Titles: DreamLeague Season 27, PGL Wallachia Season 7, and BLAST SLAM VII.
- Lost finals: BLAST SLAM V and ESL One Birmingham 2026.
- The International 2026: third place.
PARIVISION: two titles and a final as TEAM VISION
PARIVISION is a CIS team that won two top-tier tournaments in the 2025/26 season. At The International 2026, it competed as TEAM VISION and finished second. Look for it under that name in the tournament results.

- Name at The International 2026: TEAM VISION.
- The International 2026: second place.
Team Liquid: two titles and a top-six finish at The International
Team Liquid represents Europe; Liquipedia lists the Netherlands as its country. In the 2025/26 season, the team won two tournaments and reached the PGL Wallachia Season 7 final. It finished 5th-6th at The International 2026.

- Lost final: PGL Wallachia Season 7.
- The International 2026: 5th-6th place.
Team Spirit: The International 2026 champions
Team Spirit is from the CIS region. Its only top-tier title in the 2025/26 season was winning The International 2026. The team also reached two finals, but lost both.
- Title: The International 2026.
- Lost finals: PGL Wallachia Season 6 and DreamLeague Season 27.
- The International 2026: first place.
Check the section above for Team Spirit’s current Dota 2 roster. Its championship win explains why the team ranks among last season’s top teams, but it doesn’t by itself confirm that its current lineup is the one that won The International.
Top Dota 2 teams: other tournament winners and finalists
Along with the five teams covered above, this overview includes six more teams with titles or notable results. This isn’t a ranking: winning a single tournament, reaching a final, and placing at The International are different achievements. Results from top-tier tournaments are listed on Liquipedia.
BetBoom Team
The CIS team won PGL Wallachia Season 8. It also reached the finals of FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and the Esports World Cup 2026. At The International 2026, BetBoom Team received an invite from Valve, competed as BoomBoys and finished 4th after losing to Team Spirit in the lower bracket.
Team Falcons
Team Falcons is a Saudi Arabian team that Liquipedia assigns to the European region. In the 2025/26 season, it won FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and reached the finals of BLAST SLAM IV and 1win Essence II. The 2025 International champion finished The International 2026 in 7th-8th place.
Aurora Gaming
Aurora Gaming represents the CIS. In the 2025/26 season, the team reached three finals without winning: DreamLeague Season 28, PGL Wallachia Season 8, and DreamLeague Season 29. It placed 9th-13th at The International 2026.

Roster changes after The International: why a lineup may be blank
As of October 1, 2026, Team Falcons' main roster is blank on Liquipedia as the team rebuilds after The International 2026. Tundra Esports left Dota 2 on June 1, 2026, and its roster moved to 1win Team, so Tundra no longer appears in the roster section.
The roster section will show the new lineup once Liquipedia adds it and the next daily update runs. Until a main roster is listed, check the note in the section rather than relying on the five players from last season’s matches.
