CS2 glove types: eight models
The model and finish are separate parts of an item’s name. For example, with Driver Gloves | Racing Green, the model is Driver Gloves and the finish is Racing Green. When comparing items, check the full name: prices for different finishes of the same model aren’t interchangeable.
| Model | Finishes listed in the Caseway Wiki |
|---|---|
| Sport Gloves | 19 |
| Specialist Gloves | 19 |
| Driver Gloves | 20 |
| Moto Gloves | 12 |
| Hand Wraps | 12 |
| Hydra Gloves | 4 |
| Broken Fang Gloves | 4 |
| Bloodhound Gloves | 4 |
If you’re interested in a model in general, start with its page: the Wiki has catalogs for Sport Gloves, Specialist Gloves, Driver Gloves, Moto Gloves, and Hand Wraps. To compare prices, open a specific finish and check its wear condition.
Cheapest CS2 gloves: prices by model
The table shows the cheapest finish for each model, based on prices as of October 1, 2026. Prices are Steam median sale prices over seven days and are updated daily. The median sale price is a comparison point, not a guarantee that an item is currently listed at that price.
Most options in the table are Battle-Scarred. The exception is Hand Wraps | Desert Shamagh in Well-Worn condition. Don’t apply the price in one row to the same finish in a different wear condition.
| Model | Cheapest finish | Wear | Steam price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Driver Gloves | Racing Green | Battle-Scarred | $33 | |
| Hydra Gloves | Rattler | Battle-Scarred | $32 | |
| Moto Gloves | Transport | Battle-Scarred | $38 | |
| Hand Wraps | Desert Shamagh | Well-Worn | $45 | |
| Specialist Gloves | Buckshot | Battle-Scarred | $44 | |
| Broken Fang Gloves | Yellow-banded | Battle-Scarred | $47 | |
| Bloodhound Gloves | Bronzed | Battle-Scarred | $71 | |
| Sport Gloves | Bronze Morph | Battle-Scarred | $76 |
The lowest price in this comparison is for Driver Gloves | Racing Green, followed by Hydra Gloves | Rattler. If you’re specifically interested in Sport Gloves, Sport Gloves | Bronze Morph is a starting point for that model. This is a comparison of the cheapest options, not a recommendation to choose one model over another: appearance comes down to personal preference.

Which case can drop gloves
Gloves are included in seven cases. The list below can help you find the relevant cases, but it doesn’t mean that every model or finish is available in each one.
Not all Gloves come from cases. Since March 11, 2026, 22 new pairs (8 Driver Gloves, 7 Specialist Gloves, and 7 Sport Gloves from the Dead Hand Collection) have been available only through Dead Hand terminals. They don’t drop from cases. Read more in our guide to Dead Hand Collection in CS2.
- Glove Case
- Operation Hydra Case
- Operation Broken Fang Case
- Recoil Case
- Snakebite Case
- Clutch Case
- Revolution Case
Gloves can drop as an exceedingly rare item instead of a regular skin. According to Valve, the chance of getting a knife or gloves is 0.26%. This figure applies to the exceedingly rare item category, not to a specific glove model or finish.
You can check what’s in a case in the CS2 Cases section. The fact that gloves are listed as possible contents doesn’t make opening a case a guaranteed way to get the item you want.
Glove details: models, wear, and trade-up contracts
No StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions
Gloves don’t have StatTrak™ or Souvenir versions. There’s no need to look for those options when comparing items: focus on the model, finish, and wear. The prices in the table apply to the specific combinations shown.
Why you should pay close attention to wear
In our view, wear is more noticeable on gloves than on weapon skins, so it’s worth judging their appearance more strictly. Scuffs can make them harder to pair with a knife, even when the colors work well together. This is a visual assessment, not a rule that says a cheaper option is necessarily worse.
The finish name alone isn’t enough to make a choice. For example, the price listed for Hand Wraps | Desert Shamagh is for Well-Worn, while the price for Driver Gloves | Racing Green is for Battle-Scarred. Keep the wear condition alongside the item name when comparing options.
Trade-up contract with five Covert skins
Here’s how the Trade Up Contract works: 5 regular Covert skins give you 1 knife or pair of Gloves from a case tied to one of those skins. 5 StatTrak™ Covert skins can only be traded for a StatTrak™ knife, since StatTrak™ Gloves don’t exist. So you can get Gloves through a contract, not just from a case.
Before setting up a trade-up, use the CS2 Trade Up Contract Calculator to check the outcomes for your chosen input items. The phrase “a knife or gloves” doesn’t guarantee a specific finish, so don’t judge a contract solely by the price of the item you want.

How to choose CS2 gloves: prices and pairing with your inventory
We’d start with a price range that works for you, then compare the appearance of the remaining options. That way, an expensive model doesn’t become a target just because of its name, and the cheapest one isn’t chosen on price alone.
- Set a budget and use the table as a starting point. It shows the lowest price for each model on the stated date, not the price of every finish.
- Compare the finish you like with your knife and the main colors in your inventory. In our view, matching shades is more useful than choosing items solely because they’re similarly priced.
- Check whether you like the selected wear condition. A low price only makes sense for your loadout if you like the item itself.
- Open the specific item’s page in the Wiki and check its price before making a final choice. Don’t apply an old price reference to gloves in a different wear condition.
For comparison, see the pages for Driver Gloves | Racing Green, Hydra Gloves | Rattler, Moto Gloves | Transport, and Sport Gloves | Bronze Morph. Check the specific item, not just the model page: the finish and wear condition are what you need to compare against the price.
