Sensitivity FAQ
Multiply by 3.18 (0.07 / 0.022 — that is how much faster the Valorant camera turns for the same mouse movement): 0.4 in Valorant is 1.27 in CS2. From CS2 to Valorant, divide by 3.18.
Yes: both games use the same scale, like every Source engine game, so you can carry your sensitivity over as is. Overwatch 2 uses a different scale: there you need a sensitivity 3.33 times higher than in CS2.
Mouse DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity — a single number for comparing sensitivity across different DPI: 400 DPI at sens 2 and 800 DPI at sens 1 are the same eDPI 800. It is only comparable within one game.
Among current players of top teams the median eDPI is 800, about 52 cm per 360° turn: most play on low sensitivity and aim with the whole arm.
Their sensitivity depends on field of view and aim settings, so a single formula cannot convert it honestly — without those settings the number would be inaccurate.
